Survival on a real-world map.
Through the seasons.
Atlas adds seasons, temperature and thirst to its Earth map. Choosing a base means planning supplies as well as finding an attractive view. Play for free with the Atlas pack in MARALYS.
After selecting a region, inspect your surroundings and character condition. Before a longer journey, prepare food, suitable drinks and somewhere to rest. Avoid crossing a large part of the map without supplies; the next convenient stopping place may be far from your base.
Shared food and drink stocks help builders as well as explorers. Store them where participants actually spend time rather than in a remote decorative building. For farming, check plant conditions and recipes in the current Atlas pack before committing to a large agricultural area.
Real geography helps locate a region, but the pack determines its in-game seasons and temperature mechanics. A country's name does not replace checking conditions on site. Observe how your farm operates and how quickly supplies are used before expanding it.
Set aside accessible storage for food and drinks. Track what gets used during building sessions and trips so the group can restock before running out.
Should I install thirst mods separately?
No. Install the complete Atlas pack through MARALYS. Compatible client components should be supplied together with the pack.
What should I prepare before moving to a new region?
Food, water, building supplies and somewhere to shelter. Account for local conditions; climate and season matter more than the view during the first days.
