Free to joinValkyrien Skies turns block-built structures into moving physical objects, with add-ons such as Eureka and Clockwork providing ways to control them. Create Aeronautics is a separate project built on Create and Sable. Astra uses Aeronautics for air and ground vehicles alongside Create production and automation.
Start with a small aircraft or airship, then build a hangar and parts storage beside it. Use Create for production and Aeronautics for the moving craft and its controls. Astra offers free access, 20 TPS and Minecraft Java 1.21.1. MARALYS installs the server pack, so you do not need to select individual mods before joining.
Experience planning hulls and testing vehicles in Valkyrien Skies can help with a new project. The mods use different blocks, dependencies and assembly systems, though: do not assume an old schematic is a ready-to-fly Aeronautics craft. Test a small prototype first, then add cargo and decoration using the recipes and controls in the Astra pack.

No. Astra runs Create Aeronautics. This page introduces another way to play with physical moving builds if you previously played Valkyrien Skies or were looking for a server using it.
No. They are separate projects with different dependencies and building systems. Astra uses the Create Aeronautics pack; this is not a renamed Valkyrien Skies server.
Install the current Astra pack through MARALYS. A client configured for another server with Valkyrien Skies and its add-ons does not replace the Astra pack.
If building your own transport matters more than using a particular mod, Astra lets you work on an aircraft, airship or ground vehicle alongside a Create workshop. Joining and playing are free; store purchases are optional.
