Free to joinA press processes metal, a mixer combines ingredients and belts carry items between machines. Rotation direction and network stress matter. Connecting more machines than a power source can handle will stop the line. One press and a nearby storage area make a practical first workshop.
Once a project needs stacks of the same part, connect your machines instead of feeding them by hand. Separate input storage, processing and finished goods. Leave access around the machines so filters and blocked items can be checked without dismantling the building.
Friends can split construction, gathering and transport between them. Aeronautics adds physical moving builds alongside Create's machinery. The guides below cover railways, flying vehicles and organising a shared base, so you can choose a project before committing to a large build.

Yes. Install Astra and start with a small kinetic network: a power source, a shaft and one machine. Check recipes in the installed pack rather than following a tutorial for a different version.
No. Joining and playing are free. The store has optional purchases, but no paid pass is required to enter the server.
