Free to joinPrepare a sleeping place, food and storage for basic materials. Set aside room for machinery; a small house soon becomes crowded. Avoid spending every resource on an impressive factory shell before you have tested even one working machine inside it.
Pick a task your base already needs: processing metal, moving materials or reducing repetitive crafting. A small machine gives you a clear result and a reason to gather the next resources. You do not need to learn every mod in the pack during your first evening.
Read the rules and check territory permissions before constructing roads or moving machinery nearby. Agree on shared paths and unloading areas in advance. Modded survival still happens around other players, whose buildings can be affected by the size and movement of your projects.

No. Astra uses Minecraft Java with its own modpack. An unmodified client does not replace the server pack installed through MARALYS.
