Free to joinStart with an item you repeatedly make by hand. List its processing stages and inputs, then build and test each operation separately. This makes a wrong recipe or unsuitable machine easier to identify before it becomes part of a complicated factory floor.
Raw materials, intermediate parts and finished products need separate destinations. Filters and spare storage capacity help keep them apart. Test what happens when the input runs out and when the output fills up before leaving the line to operate unattended.
A fast machine will not speed up a factory if the next stage is slower or its storage is full. Run the same batch through the complete line. Increase power and speed where a delay actually occurs rather than upgrading every mechanism at once.
For machinery, vehicles and large shared builds.
No. A small complete workshop is more useful than a building full of disconnected machines. It is easier to supply, inspect and expand when demand grows.
Check rotational power, inputs and free output space. Follow the stages in order: a full storage area or incorrect filter can block later operations.
