1. Scope and acceptance
This Agreement governs the MARALYS website and future services. By creating an account or using an available Service feature, you accept it. Personal-data consent remains a separate action.
2. Eligibility
Self-service registration is available from age 18. You confirm that the date of birth is accurate and that you can enter this Agreement. The rating and licence terms of each third-party game also apply.
3. Account security
Keep your password and devices secure. An official game mod may accept a MARALYS password only to send it directly to the MARALYS API over HTTPS. The mod must not store the password; after verification, the API issues a separate scoped game session. MARALYS never asks for your Steam password. Accounts may not be sold, rented, shared to evade restrictions or created on behalf of another person.
4. Server conduct
Each game and server has additional published rules. Cheats, exploit abuse, unauthorised automation, infrastructure interference, harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation and disclosure of another person’s data are prohibited.
4.1. Maralys Wallet and MCOIN
MCOIN is an internal game-accounting unit used within MARALYS. It is not money, electronic money, a payment instrument or cryptocurrency; MARALYS does not withdraw it or exchange it for roubles or other fiat currency.
A player may transfer MCOIN to another MARALYS ID. A confirmed transfer is final except where support verifies a technical error, proven unauthorised access or another documented correction ground. Check the username, amount and purpose before confirming.
- Selling MCOIN between players for real money, fraud, laundering, account theft and exploiting errors for unjustified credits are prohibited.
- MARALYS may freeze a wallet, reverse an erroneous operation or correct a balance with the reason preserved in transaction history.
- If compromise is suspected, change the password, enable 2FA and contact support immediately.
5. Mods, Steam and third parties
Officially supported mods sign in with a MARALYS email or username and password sent to the MARALYS API over HTTPS. The mod must not store the password. After verification, the API issues access and refresh tokens restricted to that game client’s scopes. Accounts with 2FA must also provide a current TOTP or an unused recovery code. Steam linking happens on steamcommunity.com and associates a public SteamID/profile with MARALYS ID. Steam and every game remain governed by their owners’ terms. MARALYS is not affiliated with the referenced game or platform owners.
6. User content, articles and Pixel Battle
You confirm that you have the rights to content you publish and grant MARALYS a non-exclusive royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display it only to operate, moderate and promote the Service. In Pixel Battle, cell coordinates, colour, action time and the last author’s username are public. The full change history is used for replay, ranking, reports and moderation rollback. Another participant may repaint a cell; no right to preserve a colour permanently is granted. Moderators may lock, clear or restore an area and sanction an author when rules are breached. Articles remain drafts until moderation. Published articles display the author’s display name and username; email is never public.
7. Enforcement
MARALYS may warn, restrict or suspend access to protect users, enforce rules or comply with law. Emergency action may occur without prior notice. A reason and appeal route are provided where possible. Enforcement does not remove statutory privacy or consumer rights.
8. Availability and liability
The Service evolves and may be interrupted for maintenance or season changes. Liability is governed by Russian law. Nothing limits a consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited by contract.
9. Changes and termination
Material revisions receive a new date and renewed acceptance where required. You may end the Agreement by deleting your account; limited records may remain where law, accounting, security or legal claims require them.
10. Law and contact
Russian law applies. Send support and pre-action claims to support@maralys.com; privacy requests to privacy@maralys.com. Mandatory consumer venue rights remain unaffected.
